The brief
Main bathroom and a new ensuite in a narrow South End rowhouse with no side access. Everything in and out had to come through the front door and down a hallway.
The challenge
No side access meant material deliveries had to be planned around resident parking restrictions, and the existing floor had almost no fall to the waste, which is the most common reason older bathrooms leak.
What we did
Full strip-out, re-screeded both floors to correct falls, installed a certified waterproofing membrane, then tiled, installed custom vanities and fitted out both rooms. Deliveries were scheduled around the street's parking rules so no fines were issued and no neighbours complained.
The result
Two bathrooms in five weeks, both with waterproofing certificates handed over at completion.
